Aerodynamic excellence
When you first encounter the EX60, it feels like the start of a new chapter in electric design. It carries the strong, sculptural presence of an SUV, yet every curve works with the air, not against it. A low front and gently sloping roof let air flow smoothly over the body, while the raised cabin maintains a confident driving position without increasing drag. Frameless doors and flush glazing keep airflow clean along the sides, and subtle deflectors at the front wheels calm turbulence around the arches. Beneath the car, a flat underbody reduces resistance, while the tapered rear lets air detach cleanly to support range. Even the smallest detail has a purpose. Active shutters close when cooling isn’t needed, and the mirrors are shaped to smooth airflow. In true Scandinavian form, beauty and efficiency work together to help you go further between charges.

Signature LED lights
Thor’s Hammer signature headlights give the car a confident look and clear visibility. The long, wide beam helps you see the road clearly in all conditions. When the car detects approaching road users, Matrix LEDs adapt the light pattern to help avoid dazzling them. High definition pixel headlights offer even sharper visibility. 25,600 tiny light pixels dim precisely around up to five cars and three other objects while keeping the rest of the road bright. Rear LEDs trace the car’s shoulder line to emphasise its width and continue the distinctive light signature. As you approach or leave, a subtle welcome and farewell sequence activates, with soft ground lighting around the door sills.

Boot space and tailgate
A wide tailgate and flat floor make it easy to load everything from shopping bags to bikes. With the rear seats up, you get up to 634 litres of cargo space, including a 63-litre 60/40-split underfloor compartment that keeps smaller items secure and dry. Fold the backrests individually or together for up to 1647 litres of cargo space. The 40/20/40-split rear seats let you carry long items like skis while keeping spots free for passengers. A control panel in the boot lets you fold the rear backrests or operate the optional folding tow bar at the touch of a button. You can also open the power tailgate hands-free by moving your foot under the rear bumper – great when you’re juggling groceries or gear for half the hockey team. When you need to tow, the EX60 is ready for bigger jobs too, with a capacity of up to 2 400 kg depending on the powertrain.

Two exterior themes
Two exterior themes let you shape the character of your EX60. Bright theme uses matte silver detailing around the sills and bumpers for a crisp, refined look. Dark theme replaces these accents with high-gloss black for a more technical expression. Both reflect the balance and restraint of Scandinavian design.

Wheel designs
Choose from four wheel designs in 20-, 21- or 22-inch sizes. Some combine lightweight aluminium with aerodynamic inserts to reduce drag and add definition. One design features striking open spokes, while others use extended spokes and hidden bolts for a more grounded stance. The rear wheels are slightly wider for extra traction and control.

Born-electric architecture
The EX60 is the first Volvo built on our next-generation electric architecture. Every element, from structure to software, is designed to make the car lighter, stronger and more efficient. Megacasting forms large sections of the body from a single piece of aluminium. It replaces hundreds of smaller parts, cutting complexity and waste while improving strength and precision. Cell-to-body integration builds the battery directly into the car’s structure. It lowers the weight and material usage, boosts range and performance, and frees up more space inside the cabin.
